If you pray for others you need this insightful booklet

This was a quick read, it was focused with out trivial distractions unrelated to the subject. I repented of several areas I had been blinded to. It opened my eyes but best of all it included insightful scriptures. This is a booklet and I wish they were cheaper in sets but have not seen any. You will also use for resource and helping others so do not let the price deter you. I have seen the counterfeit this is desperately needed information no one wants to talk about. It shipped quickly and I plan to order more from this author. Thank you Amazon for securing hard to find books.

For those who want a closure relationship with Jesus Christ, this book is very helpful in confronting the spiritual warfare faced by followers of Christ. Know who you are communicating with and test the spirits. All spirits are not from Jesus Christ. I recommend this book and this seller.

I wish I'd noticed that this was 28 pages long. It's a booklet with some very basic information you can easily find by searching Google. Yes, the information in it is accurate, but for the price, actual books can be purchased that delve into the topic with truly helpful information. Had this only been one or two dollars, I could understand, but charging a basic book price for this, in my opinion, lacks integrity. I'm willing to bet that Frank Hammond gave these away or sold them in bulk for pennies when he was alive, and that, today, his ministry uses these at inflated prices to generate funds. If you're looking for information on spiritual warfare, your money is better spent elsewhere.

This is a rip-off. Although I only paid .99 cents for it, the "book" consisted of 1 pattern and then it tells you for more patterns to go to their website, which is titled "free quilling patterns" AND yet when you go there, nothing is free. They try to sell you more books and not cheap books either. They say "for a measly $37.00 we will sell you another book and give you a bunch of free books too!"

This is one of the worst examples of quilling instruction I've seen in 50 years of quilling. The book was written by someone who has no knowledge of quilling. Save your money. Go to one of the many quilling guilds or quilling support groups around the world to see what books they recommend.

Much thumbed and always to hand

This is my bible. It's very specifically designed for practical learning through a series of practical excercises, each one focused on one or two particular techniques. The finished result of each excercise is a beautiful, wearable piece of jewellery - and, for a student, it is, I think, the best of all books to learn from.

The true beauties and values of this book, however, lie in the appendixes and tables of measurements and how to calculate measurements, volumes, weights - and in the fact that I have always been able to find the answer to any particular problem I face at the bench somewhere in its pages. I lost my original, full colour copy, and have been reduced to a black and white edition. If you can get either, add it to your library.

Most of the information I have figured out over a 45 year career of 'self-teaching'. The projects are explained well and are challenging. Not much 'smithing'. I will keep looking for a comprehensive treatise. "Metalwork and Enamelling" by Maryon is a better reference despite the difficulty in sourcing some of the materials. In many cases there are more effective modern substitutes and it would be nice to have a reference that explains their uses.

About the Author

Robert DiGiulio is Education Professor at Johnson State College in Vermont. He earned his Ph.D. in human development from the University of Connecticut, and recently earned his D.Ed. in socio-education from the University of South Africa. He began his teaching career in the New York City public school system, where he taught for a number of years. His 33-year career as an educator includes teaching at the elementary, middle, junior high and college levels, with experience ranging from crowded urban schools to a one-room schoolhouse. He has also served as a school principal educational researcher, consultant, and writer.

As an educational consultant, he co-developed Teen Test, a vocational counseling program for adolescents. He coauthored educational computer software called Language Activities Courseware and authored its teachers guide. His Teacher magazine article The Guaranteed Behavior Improvement Plan was recognized as having one of the highest total readership scores of any of that magazines articles.

He has authored numerous books including When You Are a Single Parent, Effective Parenting, Beyond Widowhood, and After Loss, selected by Readers Digest as their featured condensed book in May 1994. He is a contributing author to The Oxford Companion to Womens Writing in the United States, and Marriage and Family in a Changing Society, and is the coauthor of Straight Talk about Death and Dying.

Most recently, he has written Nonviolent Interventions in Secondary Schools: Administrative Perspectives, a chapter in Peacebuilding for Adolescents: Strategies for Educators and Community Leaders, edited by Ian H. Harris and Linda R. Forcey. Dr. DiGiulio's most recent books are Great Teaching: What Matters Most in Helping Students Succeed, Educate, Medicate, or Litigate? What Teachers, Parents, and Administrators Must Do About Student Behavior, and Positive Classroom Management: A Step-by-Step Guide to Successfully Running the Show Without Destroying Student Dignity, both published by Corwin Press.

Dr. DiGiulio's interests include international education, child behavior, and teacher education. He won a 2002-2003 Fulbright Scholar Award to the University of Jyvaskyla in Finland. He was a Delegate to the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) 2003 Conference on Teaching and Learning for Intercultural Understanding. Dr. DiGiulio is also a member of the Vermont Society for the Study of Education, and serves on the Project Harmonys Advisory Board on Education Programs. He resides with his family in northern Vermont.

PCM is a MUST Read for All Educators

This book is a great read for all prospective teachers, as well as educators currently in the field. It focuses on implementing several forms of management, including: assertive discipline and disciplining with dignity. The 3 axioms for student success (relatable to Vygotsky's ZPD) are crucial to building a positive classroom. Management techniques are focused on the student, and all suggestions are a direct result of the Constructivist theory. I would highly recommend this book!

It is a very practical book, and it helped me greatly during my second year of teaching. The checklists were easy to use, and very complete. I recommend Dr. DiGiulio's book to any teacher, new or experienced.

2014 Pappas Mathematics Calendar

I purchase this for my daughter who is a Mathematics Professor every year for Christmas and was very disappointed when it wasn't available last year.

This is her favorite present and will be very pleased that I was able to purchase it this year.

PLEASE keep it in your inventory every year if at all possible.

This is a great calendar that gives one a daily math puzzle that can involve all facets of Math from Geometry to Algebra to Calculus. It keeps the brain active and provides fun for the number loving person.

This is the second one I've had.

I enjoy the challenges, but I actually have another calendar that I use as an actual calendar. You cannot use the Mathematics Calendar to keep a record of appointments or anything like that because each box is totally filled with the math problem. I would prefer a larger size calendar and one that has some blank space in each day box to write a note or work the math problem. Those are the reasons I give it three stars. Having said that, I will probably buy it again in 2015.

Paul V. Azzopardi trained and worked as a certified public accountant and then obtained an MBA from the University of British Columbia, now Sauder School of Business, concentrating in finance and investments. Paul worked in the securities industry for the last twenty years in various roles but principally as a manager of private client accounts. In this role he invested in securities around the world on behalf of his private clients. He now concentrates on managing a private fund and on his lifelong passion of writing about investments and finance. His blog can be found at www.etfinvestmentsnewsletter.com. a world of jargon

With all due respect, especially given the favorable reviews by others, I was disappointed in the book. My comments here about it are not intended to denigrate the author, whom I tend to admire, but rather to give the prospective reader an alternative viewpoint.

I was expecting to learn an approach to the problem of to buy or not to buy a given security on the basis of interpreting market trends from a behavioral perspective. The author introduces the reader to numerous behavioral concepts and discusses how they can potentially influence what happens in the stock market, but the illustrations are always retrospective and nothing is done to generate a predictive model. I suppose one could use criteria of the technical approach for deciding if and when to buy or sell, and then use the catchwords in Azzopardi's book to explain the behavior behind the technical decision, but that by itself would make such an exercise rationalization rather than a predictive analysis.

Perhaps, after a while, a lot of this rationalization could be reviewed and a behavioristic analytic could be developed from it to make predictions or assertions above and beyond what the technical people do, but that would likely be a clumsy way to develop a behavioral approach. As it is, Azzopardi pretty much talks about the potential of using behavioral concepts to figure out when to buy or when to sell, but he leaves it for others to pioneer the actual approach.

If you know very little about buying and selling stocks and need a primer, this book would give you an interesting set of considerations. If, on the other hand, you have had your share of accidents in the rough and tumble of the stock market and are groping around for a new perspective, I believe that you would be frustrated if you sat down and pored over this tome.

An Excellent Primer on Behaviorial Finance

There are number of good books on behaviorial finance/economics but this is the first book I've come across that pulls all of the key themes together in a straightforward, comprehensible manner and then effectively bridges over to how it relates to technical analysis. For my 'fundamental' colleaugues who ask me 'how do I learn about technical analysis?" I always say "you need to study behaviorial finance first" but the problem has been that there are perhaps a half dozen books that I reccomend. Now there is one book that pulls it all together that's written by a trader, not an academic or a strategist. Believe me, there is a difference. Even if you have a working understanding of BF, I would still recommend the book because of this distinction.

Behavioural Technical Analysis

I have been somewhat hesitant to write a review since all the technical jargon and rationalization has already been documented in reviews written by others. As a result I thought my review would be just a repeat therefore I will provide my input from a different direction.

I agree with all the reviews that Paul V. Azzopardi knows what he is talking about sine he is a trader and not a bystander giving his observation. Finally someone who has hands on experience is sharing his knowledge in a clear and appealing manner which kept me interested.

As I read the book it was almost as if the author knew what mistakes I made in the past or the lessons I had to learn the hard way. It is easier to accept what you did wrong from a book rather than have someone tell you directly. Your ego does not get in the way. It gave me time to absorb the information and see where I went wrong and how I could have avoided those obvious pitfalls. It was an insight to my trading habits.

I guess to sum up and not be redundant it is difficult to clearly to explain how enlightened / informed I feel after reading this book . Behavioural Technical Analysis is not one of those books you read just once but is valuable as an ongoing reference. Trading without having read this book is like "going to a gunfight with a knife" in my view.

There are some of good books on behavioural finance but this is the only book which captures all the key elements and for this reason it would be my recommendation for anyone in this field whether you are just starting out or experienced.
